ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A woman is hospitalized after being shot overnight while asleep inside her home in the Greater Ville neighborhood, according to St. Louis police.

The shooting occurred on Kennerly Avenue, off Vandeventer Avenue. Police said the woman was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police have no information about a suspect at this time.
