ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A 35-year-old man has been hospitalized after a shooting Tuesday night on Union Boulevard left him with a gunshot wound to the head.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the call for the shooting came in just after 10:30 p.m. They arrived to the 1400 block of Union and found the injured man. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for the shooting. Police say preliminary investigation indicates that there may have been a disagreement between the two earlier in the day.

Police are investigating.
