(First Alert 4) - A St. Louis County woman who defrauded Missouri Medicaid with false home health care claims has been sentenced to prison. After pleading guilty to one count of health care fraud, Camille Childress, 41, was sentenced to 15 months in prison and ordered to repay $174,496 to Missouri Medicaid. Childress, of St. Louis County, made false claims of having provided home health care through her home care health company, Inspiring Angels LLC. The paperwork for the company falsely claimed the company was owned by someone else due to a criminal conviction from 2012. Childress also admitted she submitted fraudulent claims seeking reimbursement from Missouri Medicaid for home healthcare services that were never provided.
