ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An 18-year-old is facing charges after a gun was thrown and went off, injuring a teenager in St. Louis County.

Jeremiah Ferguson Grissom, 18, is charged with second-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. His cash-only bond was set at $100,000.

Investigators said that on Monday, Grissom threw a gun in the victim's direction during an argument. The gun then reportedly hit a wall and discharged, sending a bullet into the victim's shoulder.

The 17-year-old victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
