Residents have long complained about increased crime near the building, as well as loitering and suspected drug activity. The Missouri Attorney General has even called the building a nuisance property, and demanded a plan from the ownership group to clean up the property and address residents' concerns.

Now, another incident happening in the area is raising some questions.

 I think it'll be okay,  Cameron said with a laugh.  But if it happens again, maybe [I'll] be concerned. 

Police have detained one person in connection with the stabbing, but there is still no information on what led to the incident or if the victim and suspect knew each other.
