(First Alert 4) - First responders are continuing a water rescue search on the Missouri River in St. Charles County on Monday after a 22-year-old man went missing. Reports of a person in the water came in after 5 p.m. Sunday near Klondike Park, between Defiance and Augusta. Crews searched for several hours before suspending the effort due to darkness. A friend identified the missing man as A.J. Soehlke, 22, from Washington, Missouri. Soehlke was on a fishing boat when he somehow went missing in the water, according to the friend. The friend said he did not have a life jacket on. Missouri State Highway Patrol told First Alert 4 that the man was swimming in a river eddy and began to struggle. A family member identified the missing man as A.J. Soehlke, 22, from Washington, Missouri.
