(First Alert 4) - A Lincoln County man was sentenced Tuesday to federal prison after admitting to possession of child sexual abuse materials (CSAM). Jeremy J.W. Crouch, 43, was sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of production of child pornography. According to federal prosecutors, around a decade ago, Crouch used a hidden camera to secretly record three boys between the ages of 8 and 11. Crouch was also accused of taking photos of one of the boys while he was sleeping in just his underwear. Prosecutors say Crouch had over 4,000 images of CSAM in his possession. The investigation into Crouch began in March 2025 when the St. Charles County Cyber Crime Task Force received a tip about possible CSAM on Crouch's Verizon account. After searching Crouch's home, investigators found handwritten notes that detailed his encounters with his victims, along with various electronic devices that contained CSAM. Crouch pleaded guilty in the case in July of this year. #firstalert4 #crimewatchstlouis
