Jurors in the U.S. District Court in St. Louis found 44-year-old Brandon Shaw guilty of five counts of distributing a controlled substance, six counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of being an unlicensed dealer of firearms. His trial lasted four days. Federal prosecutors say Shaw repeatedly sold guns and drugs to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents. According to prosecutors, Shaw sold 11 guns, over four pounds of methamphetamine and over 20 grams of fentanyl to an undercover ATF agent over a period of four months. The transactions were audio- and video-recorded. Shaw was previously convicted in federal court in 2021 for being a felony in possession of a firearm. He was on supervised release when he sold the drugs and guns to the undercover agent, prosecutors say. #firstalert4 #crimewatchstlouis
